The program concerns 25,000 checks and the total budget amounts to 3 million euros. With the new program, domestic tourism is further strengthened and another category of beneficiaries is added to DYPA’s social policy programs. Beneficiaries of the program are pensioners of the e EFKA – former OAEE who have paid the corresponding contribution of 1 euro for the specific benefit during the month of June 2022 (par. 5 of article 69 of law 3863/2010).
Beneficiaries of the LAE/OPEKA programs are the pensioners of the EFKA (OGA), the pensioners of the Account for Uninsured Over-age Persons of article 1 of Law 1296/1982 and the insured of the EFKA (OGA) who are insured on December 31 of the previous year of submitting the application for participation. The new “Tourism for All 2024” Program of the Ministry of Tourism, implemented by the Information Society M.A.E., in collaboration with the Ministries of Digital Governance, National Economy and Finance, aims at the immediate strengthening of domestic tourism activity and is part of the framework of the Government’s broader strategy to support Greek households and businesses against the effects of the global inflationary crisis.
Subsidy program for beneficiaries for the accommodation of their children aged 6 to 16 years in children’s camps that participate in the program and are included in the “Register of Providers” of the OAED.
Children must have a Children’s Camp Accommodation Check.
The program is implemented during the summer period, from mid-June to early September each year.
Children can stay up to a maximum of fifteen (15) consecutive days, including arrival and departure days, in a children’s camp that they choose freely from the OAED “Provider Register”, after consultation with the camp provider.
Eligible parents and children’s camp providers submit an online application for participation on specific dates specified in the Public Call on the OAED website.
